I recommend two guest speakers whom I think would be willing to collaborate
(1) Michel Bauwens on alternative accounting systems. In your environmental economics class we learnt about different ways to deal with/account for ‘negative environmental externalities’. I think Michel is one of the top authors exploring this topic. It would be great to hear his thoughts on his recent work “Accounting for Planetary Survival” and on how his alternative accounting systems could be implemented within economis/accounting university courses.
(2) Jan Douwe van der Ploeg on the Dutch nitrogen crisis and new sustainable methods of agricultural production in the Netherlands.
