- Panic: We’re passing climate tipping points: Arctic warming releasing methane and melting Greenland’s ice sheet, leading to 5-8C increase in temperature in 20 years and 7 meters of sea level rise (in ?? years). These changes are moving from theoretical problems, to things needing action to avoid, to inevitabilities that we’ve done nothing to avoid. Let the deluge begin 🙁
