- Academics — Read these books! A colleagues recommended the Campus Trilogy, which David Lodge published 1975-1988. The stories are sometimes a bit tense but always insightful/cutting/funny. Each book goes into some cultural element of campus life (sabbaticals, conferences, tenure) and then explores the games and surprises related to those elements. FIVE STARS 🙂
