- This conversation sounds a bit like an advertisement, but it’s on an interesting topic: employee-owned firms.
- Trump is a chaos machine and who knows where we will be in his “War on Logic” with respect to tariffs, but this article gives some insights into the chaos he’s spewing. What’s missing is the elephant in the room: The Chinese firms supplying (in my guesstimate) 90% of the parts in the global watch industry.
- Unfun fact from a student’s paper: More than 54% of Netherlands is used for agriculture, which contributes to 4.1% of GDP. That’s an opportunity cost.
- Listen: The new head of the EPA doesn’t think CO2 influences climate chaos, but I’m not surprised at the ignorance of a guy who uses “stangulating” “advancements” in his deceits.
- So this podcast (2/2) definitely changed my opinion of Margaret Thatcher, for the worse.
- Watch this excellent documentary of the rise of DJs and dance music.
- Really thin wood planing, Japanese style.
- A US entrepreneur explains the complexity of supply chains. (The Trump admin seems clueless.)
- Paris said au revoir to cars. Air pollution maps reveal a dramatic change.
- Listen: A(n) history of US taxes (more than just Intuit corruption)
Yes, I read them, and sometimes I follow up on something of interest, so please keep at it.
You mentally deal with Fat Donnie from Queens as he is a psychopath. Your normal brain just can’t grasp insanity.
Definitely keep at this– I find these valuable. I have very limited bandwidth (for many reasons, don’t get me started), so a predigested list of interesting resources is very helpful!
Thanks for keeping at this!!!
Hi David!
I definitely enjoy your posts on “interesting stuff”. Personally, I am mostly interested in the articles that you share. Please keep them up!
I don’t follow up on every link, but I enjoy the variety of articles you bring to our attention.
Please continue the digest of Interesting Stuff. It often leads me to read things I wouldn’t have found otherwise, and are interesting. If it’s a lot of work, maybe you could cut back to every two weeks or even monthly.
